Flower Essences-Beyond Aromatherapy
How to Use Essences by Renee Votta
Essences can be used in many ways. The quickest, easiest way is to just put a few drops in the mouth. Unless you are the only one using the essence bottle try to make sure that you dont touch the dropper to your lips or tongue, as then your own energy vibrations will go from the dropper into the essence bottle.
If anyone is unwilling to take an essence due to it being made with alcohol (the most common preservative being brandy) and cannot find the same essence elsewhere made with another preservative such as organic apple cider vinegar or glycerin, the dosage may be put into a cup of warm water.
The heat from the water will evaporate the alcohol and you will be left with alcohol-free essence. This will not effect the energy of the essence at all.
Essence drops can also be put into any liquid you are drinking.
A great way to really get immersed in an essence is to put a dosage amount into your bath water! When I tell our clients this, I still recommend that they take some drops orally, too. They are really getting the works by swallowing it and then relaxing in a nice hot bath of essences and essential oils. They are truly touching all 4 levels of their energy-physical, mental, emotional and spiritual this way.
I also suggest clients put a dropper full of essences into a spray bottle filled with spring or distilled water, perhaps along with a few drops of a compatible essential oil, and mist themselves and their surrounding area.
Some people carry their favorite bottle of essence on their bodies. If you decide to do this try to keep it as close as possible to benefit from the energy vibrations. I know women that put a small bottle in their bras, but you can also carry it in your pocket.
Carrying it allows you to "be aware" of the essence at all times, especially when you are most in need of it. You are actually touching and using the energy when you carry it on you, so this is a great way to use an essence you feel a real need for.
