The International Federation of Professional Animal Aromatherapy

By Caroline Ingraham

The IFPAA is being founded to protect the integrity of work using aromatics with animals,
allowing the understanding of self-selection by animals to be encouraged and protected. In effect, we are about letting the animals
show us the way.

The popularity of animal aromatics has caused people who are not educated in this subject to jump on the band wagon  and apply the oils as they would for 'People Aromatherapy' not allowing the animal to self medicate itself as it would in the wild. The oils are secondary non nutritional parts of the plant that are toxic or medicinal in nature - the animal has the wisdom to be attracted to what it needs when out of balance or in ill health. Therefore a person
selecting and applying  the wrong oil for the animal could get it wrong rendering a toxic application.

It is being founded by myself with tremendous support from those who have been trained by me - Yes it covers all animals and is an international organization.

Various levels of membership are being set up: ie. friend, qualified and business.

Set up of IFPAA should be done by July, any one interested in knowing more can contact Caroline herself at:
