BREAKING THE SILENCE: A Member of Gary Young's Inner Circle Speaks Out
After Gary left Donna, he moved to San Diego, married his second wife and had two more children. His new wife was a very intelligent woman with many contacts in the alternative health field and had formulas for herbal/vitamin supplements.
Over the next two years as Gary moved from job to job, he started to become more involved with the alternative field and that is when he met many people like Dr. Donsbach. In 1983 Donald and Dolly were invited to Chula Vista/San Diego area to visit Gary wanted them to see his accomplishments.
It was during this visit that his father became aware that Gary was calling himself a Doctor, when Donald asked Gary, by what right he had to do so, , Gary told his parents that in Mexico it took less time to become a Doctor. He also told them that he had an outpatient clinic and when they went to his home in Chula Vista, Donald and Dolly found that the clinic was in Garys dinning room and that he and his wife were selling his wifes formulas out of the home and calling it an outpatient clinic.
Also during this same time frame, Gary convinced his Uncle and Aunt to move to San Diego to help build his fabulous clinic on Roserita Beach. After only nine months, his Aunt and Uncle went back home. There never was a clinic to build, they went down there and ended up working on an already existing building owned by Dr Geranimo.
Gary claimed to be taking courses at this clinic, courses in hematology, anesthesiology orthomolecular cell therapy etc. This clinic provided most of these treatments from actual MD or ND Doctors like Dr. Geranimo. Not one member of his family ever saw Gary taking any kind of classes, so what was he doing at the clinic? He was only a worker and cleaning up.
In 1985 Donald and Dolly were involved in a horrible head on collision, and several months later Donald was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. Gary convinced Donald that he was a Doctor and that he could cure him if he came down to his clinic in Mexico. Once in Mexico, Donald realized that it was the same clinic and that nothing had changed. It was still operated by Dr. Geronimo.
However Donald stayed and after several months of treatment, Gary told him that he was in remission. After returning home to his family, they convinced him to have a check up to just make sure Donald was in remission as he looked "worse for wear."
When the tests came back they showed that he was not in remission and the cancer had progressed so rapidly it was now in the bone and throughout the body.
Gary once again convinced his father to come back to the clinic and start treatment again, within two months of being at the clinic the second time Donald Young died.
