Combine:

1 Part Baking soda

1 Part Borax

1 drop Essential Oil of choice (optional)

For heavy scouring I�ll add:

1/4 Part fine grind Salt

Into 1 gallon of water mix:

1 tsp - 1 Tbsp natural liquid soap

1 tsp borax

2 drops Essential Oil of choice

If desired rinse floor with clean water after mopping.

The very easiest hardwood floor polish/furniture polish I know of is simply one cup of plain olive oil with one drop of Lemon essential oil added to it.

For those who are a little more creative, here is a fabulous recipe adapted from one by Debra Lynn Dadd (author of The Nontoxic Home�)

Bring to a boil

1 quart beer

1 Tbsp. sugar

2 Tbsp. beeswax

Remove from heat, add 5-10 drops lemon myrtle essential oil. Pour into containers.

Let cool, rub onto wood, polish off with a clean rag.
